Fiesta de la beata Sor Francinaina

Sencelles recalls each year the anniversary of the death of Sor Francinaina (1781-1855), who was beatified in 1989 and named, in 2011, patron saint of the catechists of Mallorca by the Vatican.

A religious trade is held during the morning, accompanied by the ball de l’ofrena, a dance of simple movements to the sound of the melodies of thexeremies, (musical instrument similar to bagpipes). Program.
