‘María Luisa’

0 Votes

A comedy written and directed by Juan Mayorga about loneliness, about old age, and about the blurred limits between reality and imagination.

María Luisa is an elderly lady who lives alone, independent, and enjoys life. A casual conversation with the doorman of the house is the trigger for a succession of scenes that, with a lot of humor and an endearing tone, allow us to discover up close the world of this curious lady.

Her flat, her trips on public transport around the city, her loitering in front of the door of a dance hall, her telephone conversations with her friend Angelines...

María Luisa is played by Lola Casamayor (María Luisa), Jorge Basanta (Benito Beckenbauer), José Luis Alcobendas (Raúl), Carlos Troya (Emerson Azzopardi), Marisol Rolandi (Angelines) and Juan Vinuesa (Juan Olmedo). Language: Spanish. Recommended age: from 14 years.
