Es Baluard presents the exhibition project Nachleben. Painting as conceptual art, curated by the Es Baluard Museum team and which can be seen in Space A.
This is the first part of the Nachleben curatorial trilogy and, based on works from the Es Baluard Collection and other collections, such as the recent deposit from the Barrié Foundation, it will trace a journey through fundamental questions that run through the recent history of contemporary art, focusing its reflection on the conceptual condition of painting.
Linked to the exhibition, the Canarian artist Laura González Cabrera has created a large mural on one of the stained glass windows at the entrance to the museum.
