The CEF, School of Audiovisual Arts, is hosting the 38th Palma Fotogràfica exhibition this year. This year, the 22 winners in the digital and analog categories will receive prizes from Foto Ruano, the CEF, EDIB, Pentax, Sony, Fujifilm, Cines de Palma, and the Mercat de l'Olivar.

Furthermore, and to create a photographic atmosphere in the city, on March 21st at 6:00 p.m., Foto Ruano will inaugurate a small exhibition featuring 10 creative photographs from the competition at its facilities at Ausiàs March, 30. The exhibition will be on display for three weeks, and the winners will be given a photographic gift.

The 38th edition of Palma Fotogràfica, organized by journalist Pilar Negredo and in collaboration with Foto Ruano, once again filled the city's streets with the art of photography on February 2nd. With 250 participants, this Marathon, one of the oldest in Spain, has established itself as an event that not only energizes and creates enthusiasm among the island's citizens, but also creates a unique atmosphere where photography and Palma are the protagonists.

This year, the combination of analog and digital photography made it possible to capture the essence of Palma from different perspectives. The themes to be photographed were: Backlit, Found Objects, La Llotja, Interiors, Urban Textures, and Sunset. This year's 22 prizes, along with a photo selection and a video screening featuring photographs from all the participants, can be seen at the CEF exhibition.
