Ara Malikian returns to Palma with ‘Intruso’

On January 11th, the stage of Trui Teatre will become the sanctuary for one of the most charismatic and brilliant violinists on the international scene: Ara Malikian. This time, the Lebanese artist of Armenian descent arrives in Mallorca to present ‘Intruso’ (Intruder), his most intimate and revealing tour to date.

Music as a Homeland ‘Intruso’ is more than just a concert; it is the life story of a musician who, for decades, navigated between cultures without feeling he fully belonged to any. From his childhood in Lebanon to his professional success in Europe, Malikian lived with the feeling of being a "perpetual outsider." However, this lack of fixed geographical roots became his greatest creative strength.

In this show, the violin stops being a mere instrument and becomes a voice that embraces multiculturalism. Malikian uses his status as an "intruder" to explore fascinating sounds, merging genres and breaking labels with his trademark energy and sensitivity.
