At only 24 years old, Kamil Pacholec is one of the most promising Polish pianists of the young generation. He participates in the 2024 Chopin Festival with a concert at the Cartuja de Valldemossa performing works by Frédéric Chopin, Johannes Bramhs and Maurice Ravel. This year's edition of the Festival Chopin de Valldemossa is subsidized by the Department of Culture of the Consell de Mallorca, the Institut d'Estudis Balearics of the Government of the Balearic Islands and the European Union with Next Generation funds.
Kamil Pacholec has been awarded in several international piano competitions and has received honorable mention at the 18th Warsaw International Chopin Piano Competition, second prize and special prizes at the 11th Paderewski International Piano Competition in Bydgoszcz (2019), first prize in the Livorno International Piano Competition (2018), the Arturo Benedetti Michelangelio Prize (2018) and first prize at the 47th National Chopin Piano Competition in Katowice, Poland (2016).
His success led him to perform in Poland, Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Japan, Brazil and the United States. After his appearance at the Chopin Competition, he was invited to perform in venues such as Carnegie Hall (Zankel Hall), Berliner Philharmonie, The National Philharmonic in Warsaw, Lutoslawski Polish Radio Concert Hall, Theatro Sao Pedro in Sao Paulo and the Gusman Concert Hall in Miami.
His performances have been praised by critics. The Gramophone stated that "many established pianists would be happy to lay claim to Pacholec's effortless work and idiomatic talent for themselves." Lawrence Budman highlighted “his strong technique and playing abilities” in South Florida Classical Review. He is currently under the tutelage of Kevin Kenner at the Frost School of Music in Miami.
