Description:
This documentary shares the emotional journey of eight women diagnosed with breast cancer, each facing her own reality, process, and concerns. They travel along the Sa Travessa route through the Serra de Tramuntana, drawing parallels between the physical challenges of the journey and the emotional ones faced after an oncological diagnosis. The project stems from healthcare professionals in the breast units at Hospital d’Inca and Son Espases, aiming for a positive, educational approach to breast cancer awareness, which affects around 800 women annually in the Balearic Islands. Directed by Rubén Capilla and Álex Rodríguez, produced by Vivirdelcuento Comunicación, with support from the SOLTI Foundation and participation by medical experts Antonia Perelló (oncologist), Valerio Corazza (surgeon), and Mónica Martí (psycho-oncologist).
There is also a free screening at the Teatre Principal in Inca on October 10.
Price: €5 (box office) — free screening in Inca
