Teatro de Barra 2026 - Microtheater route through bars in Palma

4 passes per night in Blanquerna + grand finale at the Teatre Municipal Maruja Alfaro (Mar i Terra)

If you fancy a different plan (and very Palma), here it goes: mini-format theater inside bars, a few centimeters from the actors, and you go “bar by bar” choosing your own route. This year the edition comes with a very current point: humor, satire and tragicomedy around tourism and life on the island (motto: “Theatre souvenirs, bar tourism”). 

What you are going to find (useful information)

• Short works + total proximity:  it is not a performance in a theater; It is “point-blank” theater, in small spaces, and that changes the experience. 

• 4 times per night: You can build your plan as it fits you (and combine 1, 2, 3 or 4 passes). 

• Route through Blanquerna locations: The spaces in this edition include Ca na Mercy, S’Amagatall, Bar Mavi, Hotel Ars Magna and Udon (Blanquerna). 

How to live it (quick tips)

• If it's your first time: Make 2 passes (you get the idea without rushing).

• If you go in a group: Choose 1–2 works “yes or yes” and leave the rest to improvisation (the fun is the route).

• Arrive with margin: As these are small spaces, going early helps to position yourself well.

Dates and times

• When: Thursday, January 29; February 5, 12, 19 and 26; and March 5, 2026.

• Passes: 7:30 p.m., 8:10 p.m., 8:50 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. 

• Grand finale: Saturday, March 7 (8:00 p.m.) at the Teatre Municipal Maruja Alfaro (Mar i Terra), with an outstanding selection in a more conventional “theater” format.

• Price: €5 per performance.
