Many of the best new British bands come from music groups already known. The Furrow Collective is one of them. This English / Scottish quartet is the winner of the Best Group at the Folk Awards of BBC Radio 2 in the 2017 edition.
Since their first album At our next Meeting (Cadiz Music Ltd. 2014) the critics have valued them as one of the most relevant and valuable groups of international folk. They lastest work is The Tamosher.
The Furrow Collective is formed by Lucy Farrell (violin, viola, saw, vocals), Rachel Newton (harp, violin, vocals), Emily Portman (banjo, concertina, vocals) and Alasdair Roberts (guitars, vocals).
