8 AND 9 SEPTEMBER - Mini-cycle of cinema

In collaboration with the Es Fortí Residents Association.

Casa Planas is launching a short-format audiovisual series to bring films from its archives to light and create unique, shared, analog viewing experiences for the public. On September 8th, we will kick off the series by dusting off old Super 8 and 16mm projectors and opening round metal boxes to reveal their secrets in a surprise screening from the Casa Planas archive. Following this, the Casa Planas Foundation will host a screening on September 9th of the documentary Dimoni O’Clock (Ramiro E., 2025), for which we have collaborated by providing the necessary footage. The documentary explores folkloric aesthetics from the collective imagination of Mallorca, such as the demon of Algaida. After the screening, the director will join us for a discussion where we can talk and share memories and perspectives.
