📖 A descent into the holding cells and their consequences
Three crimes, three detainees, and three intertwined stories form the core of this play. The plot is sparked when an ordinary driver is arrested by the local police following a traffic accident and ends up held in police custody. From that moment on, 24 intense hours unfold that will mark their life forever.
The performance traces the full journey of detention, from initial intake to standing before the judge. Fast-paced and compelling, blending drama and social realism with touches of humor, the script addresses complex issues such as alcoholism, substance abuse, and gender violence, maintaining respect for victims, police officers, and detainees alike.
🎭 Authorship and company
The play is co-written by Toni Oliver and Biel Lladó, and brought to life on stage by the cast of Grup de Teatre Jutipiri.
