One of the oldest and most emblematic fairs in the Llevant returns to fill Artà with tradition, local produce and village life. 🥁🌿

Organised by Artà Town Council, the Fira takes place on the second Sunday of September and comes with a programme of activities running from 4 to 27 September.

🐑 Fair Sunday

The village is split into zones: livestock at Plaça del Pes dels Porcs, Mallorcan producers and artisans at Plaça del Conqueridor, food and shopping along Gran Via de la Constitució, a children's play area, local associations, classic cars and motorbikes, carts and antique tools, birds of prey, a working waterwheel, a palm-weaving (llatra) workshop, dog agility and a live cooking show with chef Joan Josep Genestar (Sa Bàscula).

Fri 4: Teatre d'Artà season launch and the show PANGEA. Sat 5: walking tour and talks remembering the town's bombing. Fri 11: jam session and charity pa amb oli dinner. Sat 12: parade, local-product tasting, 25th Traditional Dance Showcase and fireworks. Sat 19: kids' morning, 33rd popular road race and a documentary for the Teatre's 25th anniversary. Sun 20: Beermut, craft beer and natural wine.

Friday 25, 8 pm: the play L'Enemic at Teatre d'Artà (€10-20). Saturday 26, from 5 pm: Horabaixa de Quintades with local DJs at Plaça del Conqueridor. Sunday 27, 10 am: 5th National Pastor Mallorquí sheepdog competition at Plaça del Pes dels Porcs.
