On Saturday 17 October Algaida celebrates one of its big autumn days. Streets and squares fill with local produce, crafts, food, music and activities for all ages. 🍂🧺

This year the Fira d'Algaida coincides with the 20th Mostra Gastronòmica of Algaida (16 to 25 October), celebrating the flavours and producers of the municipality.

🌿 Saturday's programme

From 9.00 am: classic vehicle display on Carrer del Pare Bartomeu Pou and a show of native Balearic animal breeds.

From 10.00 am: local produce fair. Children's workshops making flower bouquets (ages 6-12, register via WhatsApp on 673 643 926 before 15 October) and autumn sweets.

11.00 am: live cooking with local ingredients and a live broadcast from Titoieta Ràdio. 12.00 pm: Maria i Punt in concert in the square.

Afternoon: volleyball match at Pavelló Andreu Trobat (4 pm), El circ del reciclatge family circus at Casal Pere Capellà (6 pm) and the Horabauxa party at Les Escoles until 1 am (16+, booking required).

🍷 The night before

On Friday 16 October at 8.00 pm, the Nit Gastronòmica brings together local restaurants, bakeries and wineries in Placeta des Sitjar.

ℹ️ Good to know: come hungry, park on the outskirts and spend the whole morning strolling around. Activities are mostly in Catalan.
