After six Thursdays of bar-hopping theatre, Nits de Barra leaves the bars behind and takes to a proper stage for its big night. 🏆🎭

The Grand Final closes the 29th edition of the Teatre de Barra competition, organised by Orbita Editorial with the support of Palma City Council, which this year travels back to the 1980s.

Berlin 89 (Alfonso Morillas / Xavi Núñez), Sa gàbia enganadora (Bernat Molina), No controles (Pablo Valera), Jingles (David Mataró) and Wall & Cass (Marga Arrom). Five brand-new short plays staged at Ca na Mercy, S'Amagatall, Bar Mavi, Hotel Ars Magna and Udon.

🍷 What is at stake

The final picks the winning production, based on audience ratings, and also awards the prize for the best tapa created by the participating venues, now in its third year.

For nearly three decades Teatre de Barra has taken theatre out of the auditorium and into Palma's bars and restaurants, with short plays made to be watched a metre away from the actors.
