Galicia lands in Palma with seafood, octopus, Albariño and plenty of reasons to arrive hungry. 🦞🐙
From 11 to 27 September, the touring food event MarisGalicia sets up its big marquee in Palma for more than two weeks devoted to Galician cooking and wine.
🦞 MARISGALICIA · GREAT SEAFOOD FESTIVAL
📅 11 to 27 September 2026
📍 Big marquee · Carrer Puerto Rico 15, next to Diario de Mallorca, Palma
🕐 Monday to Saturday: 13.00–16.30 and 20.00–23.00
🕐 Sundays: 13.00–16.30
🎟️ Free entry — food and drink paid separately
🐙 What to expect
The concept is simple: bring some of Galicia's most recognisable flavours under one roof, with seafood cooked throughout the day.
🐙 Traditional pulpo a feira, prepared by pulpeiros from O Carballiño
🦞 Lobster, langoustines, goose barnacles and more shellfish
🦐 Seafood rice dishes
🥟 Galician empanadas
🥖 Artisan Galician bread
🍷 Albariño, Ribeiro, Mencía and Godello wines
🎪 How it works
There is no ticket and no booking: you walk into the marquee, choose what you want to eat and drink, and pay for your order. It is a food-fair format, with long shared tables and a festive atmosphere, rather than a conventional restaurant.
MarisGalicia tours Spanish cities each year taking Galician cuisine beyond Galicia, and Palma is one of its longest stops of the season.
ℹ️ Good to know: peak times are weekend lunchtimes and Friday and Saturday evenings. For larger groups or a quieter table, come midweek or right as it opens.
✨ Come hungry: this is basically a short trip to Galicia without leaving Palma.
