📖 An ascent in pure alpine style

The documentary L’Essència del Compromís (Spain, 2025, 49 min), directed by Adrià Martínez, transports viewers to the Huayhuash mountain range in the Peruvian Andes. Confronting the formidable peak of Nevado Yerupajá (6,634 m)—a mountain made almost inaccessible by its steep walls—alpinists Bru Busom, Rubén Sanmartín, and Marc Toralles set out on a major challenge.

The film details their opening of a new 3,000-metre route in pure alpine style along the Yerupajá ridge, exploring friendship, solitude, and testing their limits.

🎬 Event context and guest participation

The event includes the participation of Marc Toralles, Bru Bossom, Tomeu Rubí, and Cati Lladó, presented within the 17th Colonya Palma Muntanya Film Fest at Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza.
