The Sa Pobla Potato Night Fair Plaça Major is once again filled with flavor, music and a popular atmosphere on the days June 5th and 6th, starting from the 7:30 p.m..

This fair celebrates one of the municipality's most emblematic products: the Poblera potatoThe town is the star of a gastronomic evening where bars, restaurants, associations, and local producers prepare special offerings ranging from traditional recipes to more innovative creations. It's the perfect opportunity to stroll through the center of Sa Pobla, sample tapas and potato-based dishes, discover new combinations, and enjoy the town's festive atmosphere.

The 2026 edition also has a special significance: it marks the fulfillment of 100 years since the arrival of the Royal Kidney variety in Sa Pobla, known as the “golden tuber”, a crop that marked a turning point in the agricultural and economic history of the municipality.

He Friday, June 5The fair opens at 7:30 p.m. in the Plaça Major with the performance of Music Band of sa PoblaStarting from 9:30 p.m.The atmosphere will continue with the live broadcast of The Foodies Band.

He Saturday, June 6The party will start again at 7:30 p.m. with the energy of the Batukada d’Albopàs in the Plaça Major. Later, starting at 9:30 p.m.Next up will be the musical performance by Elvira Clark.

In addition, during the fair you can sample numerous gastronomic proposals made with potatoes: fried foods, croquettes, potato croquettes, sweet flatbreads, hamburgers with potato brioche, potato flatbread ice cream, fritters, cocktails with potato vodka and many other creations prepared by local establishments and associations.

As a related activity, the Thursday, June 4th at 7:00 PM It opens in Can Corró the exhibition Wood Artby Tomeu Bauçà Fiol, featuring models of machines used in old trades, Palma Cathedral, and traditional Mallorcan furniture. The exhibition will remain open from June 5-7, of 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
