One of the most colorful and beloved celebrations of Andalusian culture in Mallorca returns to Santa Ponça from June 19 to 21, bringing three days of music, devotion, dance and community spirit to Calvià.
Organized by the Casa de Andalucía in Calvià, the Rocío Festival has become a much-loved tradition on Mallorca's cultural calendar, attracting hundreds of residents and visitors each year. Inspired by the famous pilgrimage to El Rocío in Andalusia, the festival combines religious traditions with lively celebrations, live flamenco performances, music, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
Throughout the weekend, the Jaume I fairgrounds will be transformed into a festive meeting place filled with flamenco choirs, dance groups, traditional costumes and Andalusian hospitality.
At the heart of the celebrations are three key events: Procession of the Virgin, Pilgrimage to Son Ferrer and Rocío Mass.
