The most classic fair in Palma: attractions, games and stalls to go with family, as a couple or with friends (from Carnival to Easter)
The Fira del Ram returns to Son Fusteret with full weeks of fair atmosphere: from strong attractions and a Ferris wheel, to food stalls and games to spend the afternoon-night without planning too much.
✅ Why go
It is an easy and very “seasonal” plan: you can go for a while (an hour) or stay all afternoon, and there is always something for every age. In addition, during the week there are usually fewer people than on the weekend.
❌ To keep in mind
On weekends it gets quite crowded and, if you go by car, access can be slower.
If you want to go quietly, better during the week or first thing on Saturday/Sunday.
📍 Data
Date: February 27 to April 12, 2026
Place: Son Fusteret Campus, Palma
🕒 Hours
Monday to Thursday: 16:30–23:00
Friday: 16:30–01:00
Saturdays: 11:00–01:00
Sundays and holidays: 11:00–23:30
🚌🚇 How to get there (useful tip)
- EMT Bus: line 10 (Son Fusteret stop)
- Metro: M1 (Son Fuster Vell stop)
- There are also parking spaces available next to the venue
💡 Tip to make the most of it
If you go with kids or prefer less noise and fewer queues, the best time is usually Monday to Thursday (from 4:30 p.m.) or early Saturday (11:00 a.m.).

Processions, sacred music and cultural plans: the island changes rhythm for nine days
Holy Week in Mallorca is not experienced “only” as processions: it is a mix of street tradition + previous culture (exhibitions and concerts) + that real beginning of spring on the island.
In Palma, the historic center around the Cathedral is one of the most impressive points.
📍 Key dates
🌿 March 29 · Palm Sunday
Blessing of palms and branches in Palma and in towns. Perfect day to start with a calmer and more familiar plan.
🕯️ April 2 · Maundy Thursday
Night of processions in Palma and throughout the island.
In Palma, one of the strong names is Sant Crist de la Sang (it leaves from La Misericòrdia and runs through the old town).
⛪️ April 3 · Good Friday
The big day. From 7:00 p.m. onwards, Mallorca enters its most solemn moment. Essentials (yes or yes):
-
Burial Procession in Sineu (one of the oldest).
-
The Davallament in Pollença and Felanitx (dramatized descent).
-
Via of the Cross in the Cathedral of Palma (performance staged on the stairs).
- In Palma, also: Sant Enterrament (one of the most solemn moments).
✨ April 5 · Resurrection Sunday (Easter Sunday)
Procession of the Encounter in Palma and in towns (symbolizes the meeting of the risen Christ with the Virgin).
🗓️ April 6 · Easter Monday
Holiday. Good day for calm plans, but with impact on stores and schedules.

🖼️Exhibitions in Palma (Centro Cultural La Misericòrdia)
Two different but complementary samples: one shows you “who” the brotherhoods are (their identity, symbols and aesthetics) and the other takes you into Holy Week from a photographic perspective and banda music.
They are part of the previous cultural programming organized by the Consell de Mallorca.

💡 Recommendations (so that the plan goes well)

Palma center: at night it is normal for there to be occasional outages and the old town is slow. If you can, walk in.
-
Public transportation: there may be specific adjustments to routes/schedules during procession times.
-
Shopping in Palma (typical these days):
-
April 2 (Holy Thursday): many shopping centers usually open.
-
April 3 (Good Friday): many stores close.
-
April 6 (Easter Monday): many stores close.
-
-
Seasonal sweets: panades, robiols and crespells (if you want the “good” ones, buy early).

30 galleries and more than 250 works in 4 days: stands, curated projects and a cultural program to look at, talk and collect
SUMMA Mallorca returns in April with a fair designed for the general public and for those who already collect: a tour of national and international galleries, works of painting, sculpture, photography, installation and video, and a parallel program with talks, guided tours and meetings.
The venue is the Pueblo Español, so the plan is also enjoyed “for the place.”
✅ Why go
Fair in an easy format: you can go browsing for an hour or spend a full afternoon.
If you want something practical: start with the stands to see “the big thing” and then look for the curated projects (curated and institutional sections) to discover less obvious proposals.
❌ To take into account
Thursday has official opening and longer hours; Sunday closes earlier.
If you want to see it with fewer people, first thing on Friday is usually better.

Morning fair to celebrate traditional clothing: embroidered fabrics, handmade details and ball de bot
For the first time in Son Servera, a fair dedicated to traditional Mallorcan clothing arrives: a morning plan with a warm and community atmosphere, designed to bring you closer to textile crafts and popular culture in a spectacular place like the Església Nova.
✅ Why go
If you like the most authentic Mallorca, this is a great plan: living tradition, local pride and a beautiful environment to see embroidery, fabrics and handmade details up close.
Plus, it's a good excuse to walk around the town and stay for a drink afterwards.
❌ To take into account
It is in the morning and lasts a few hours: if you want to watch it calmly, go from the beginning.
And since they can still expand programming, it is advisable to check the updated information before going.
📍 Data
Date: Sunday, April 19, 2026
Time: 10:00–14:00
Place: Església Nova, Son Servera
Entry: FREE
💡 Useful tip
Good plan if you go with someone who “isn't into fairs”: the place is already worth the visit.
And if you are left wanting more, it is usually the type of event where you then want to continue with a quiet route through the center.

Book stops + roses and signatures: the most beautiful day to walk through the center with a cultural plan
On April 23, Palma is filled with book and rose stalls and the center becomes a perfect route to walk, without rushing.
The grace is not “buying and that's it”: it is the atmosphere, the brands, the recommendations of booksellers and the street plan that the city creates for you.
📜 A little history
The tradition of Sant Jordi unites two symbols for different reasons:
Therose comes from the legend of Sant Jordi: after defeating the dragon, a red rose is born from his blood that the saint gives to the princess, and that is why the day is associated with giving roses.
The book is linked to Book Day because April 23 coincides with the date on which great authors such as Cervantes and Shakespeare, and the idea of giving books as gifts became popular.
Over time, both traditions came together and today is lived as a day ofroses + books: a perfect mix of affection and culture.
🗺️ Where is the atmosphere (to find your way quickly)
Normally it is distributed in very central areas: La Rambla, Passeig del Born, Via Roma, Sant Miquel and Plaça Major.
✅ Why go
Because it is the typical plan that works for everything: going as a couple, with friends, as a family or alone.
You can spend 20 minutes or take a “long route” and you always find something (a book you weren't looking for, a dedication, a rose, or simply the walk).
❌ To take into account
It is a day with a lot of people in the center. If you want to move comfortably and see signatures calmly, it is best to go in the morning or early afternoon.
📍 Data
Date: April 23, 2026
Location: center of Palma (Rambla / Born / Sant Miquel / Plaça Major and surroundings)

🧠 Recommendations (the ones that really help)
-
If you want to “hunt” for a good book: start at Plaça Major + Sant Miquel (many bookstores are concentrated there).
-
If you are looking for a beautiful and atmospheric walk: take Born → Rambla (more “street route” and stops).
-
If you go with little ones: prioritize wide sections (Born/Via Roma) to be more comfortable with a stroller.
