Africa Moment produces and presents Afrikan Party (2022), the new creation of choreographer Oulouy with the five international performers that make up his Supa Rich Kids crew.
Afrikan Party is the story of a boy born in 2090 in the United States of Afrika, a journey through its thousands of traditions, rituals and cultures that connect him to the past, present and future. A journey through each vital milestone through dance, music and fashion.
Born in the Ivory Coast in 1990 and living in Barcelona for the last few decades, Oulouy is one of the key artists on the current international urban dance scene. In 2022 he was nominated for the XXIV Premios de la Crítica Catalana de Artes Escénicas and the Premios Dansacat in the category of best dancer of the year. In addition, he is founder and curator of the OYOFE International Festival dedicated to urban dances.
Afrikan Party features music by DJ Kamol, Julien Roolib, Julian Nichols aka Asap Ju, Alieu Saho, Pau Clavé, with help from Namu Serpentard.
