‘Alma i Elisabeth’

This production parts of the script of Persona the exceptional film from 1966 and one of the most controversial works of Ingmar Bergman (1918-2007). The Swedish writer and director of film and theater devised it while he was in hospital because of stress, which served him for the starting point of the argument.

In Alma i Elisabeth, directed by Magda Puyo and interpreted by Monica Lopez and Marta Marco, an actress resignates speech and is moved by a nurse to a lonely house. Her silences of will be met with a torrent of words that the actress will absorb as a vampire, as if preparing one of her roles.

Alma i Elisabeth  is a coproduction of the Grec Festival of Barcelona 2013 and Sala Muntaner.
