‘De amor y lujuria’

María José Goyal directs this erotic poetry show which opened the last Festival of Classical Theatre of Alcántara (Cáceres). It is a journey through all facets of love, from the first meeting to unbridled passion, jealousy and finally indifference.

The guiding theme are the verses of great classic poets: Francisco de Quevedo, Lope de Vega, Luis de Góngora, Tirso de Molina, Meléndez Valdés, Fray Damian Cornejo, Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, Calderon de la Barca, Miguel de Cervantes, Sebastian Orozco, Duque de Rivas and several anonymous poets of the Golden Age

It is a production of the company Euroescena and features a cast of exceptional actors: Emilio Gutiérrez Caba, Ramón Langa, Cristina Goyal and María José Goyal  herelf.
