Within the festival Dansa Novembre, Es Baluard presents two pieces of the program: Beat, by the company Niña de Fuego formed by Curro Viera (percussion) and Ingrid Medina (dance), and Öpera para un älce, by Luis Jaume, Eba Rubio and Vicens Mayans.
Beat is a performance where dance and percussion weave the present into a plot that brings together performers, physical space and the public. This makes the work change its duration, making each performance a unique work.
For its part, Öpera para un älce is a scenic proposal which centers on the concept of renunciation and pain towards the things you know that sooner or later will arrive, which you cannot evoid. It has the structure of an opera divided by acts.
Dansa Novembre, held on November 16 and 17 in various places throughout the city, is organized by the Associaciò Cultural de Dansa de les Illes Balears.
