The Fragua Teatro presents this work written in 1940 by the French playwright Jean Cocteau expressly for singer Edith Piaf, who at the time was also the protagonist of the play. It shows the feelings of a woman who for the sake of love undergoes abuse and psychological mistreatment from her partner. In order not to be left alone she is capable of supporting the worst humiliations.
