With text by Rafel Gallego and direction by Marina Salas, Biografia d’un barri mutant focuses on the recovery of the history of the Palmas neighbourhood of Pere Garau, based on the collective memory of the women who have been part of its social, historical and cultural evolution.
By conducting interviews with the neighbours, complemented by bibliographical research, the past of the neighbourhood is reconstructed, marked by the different waves of migration that have taken place and that have shaped its streets, its people and its commercial fabric, among others.
This retrospective journey is materialised in a theatre piece that will feature the participation of professional actresses, on the one hand, and the women interviewed, on the other.
Biografia d’un barri mutant is performed by Neus Cortès, Lorena Faus and Marga López.
