'The songbook of Mallorca'

Aires Mallorquins and Rodalla Bellver are the two protagonists groups of the concert El cançoner de Mallorca (The Mallorcan songbook) with a didactic repertoire for instrumental ensemble.

Aires Mallorquins was founded in 1940 by Maestro Jaume Company and since then has had as an objective the dissemination of Majorcan culture through music and dance.

Created in 1979 under the direction of Joan Pastor, group Rodalla de Bellver dedicated to the recovery of Mallorcan folk music using string instruments and the search and adaptation of rhythms of the rondalla (Mallorcan folk tale).
