'La Casa de Comedias'

The General Archive of the Consell de Mallorca organizes this virtual exhibition dedicated to the beginnings of the Teatro Principal of Palma, known then as La Casa de Comedias (The House of Comedies).

The show consists of hand programs from theatrical performances and documentation dated between 1742 and 1848. The virtual tour is done through 4 sections: hand programs (1878-1848), function accounts (1847 ), Lists of assigned chairs and rows (1742-1744) and the list of comedies entries (1745).
