Offline Produccions, in collaboration with Palma City Council, produces this play by Rafel Gallego and directed by Rafel Durán, which dramatises the information from the book Ahir enterràrem un nin a Ciutat and explores the various theories about his premature death.
José Esteves de la Concepción, known as Chocolate, was found dead at the age of 13 on 1 May 1978 in Palma's Parque del Mar. The official version speaks of an overdose, but this was never investigated.
With a prodigious voice, Chocolate was a singular figure in the bohemian life of the 1970s, involved in movements such as the defence of sa Dragonera and in cultural events such as Selva Rock.
Chocolate is played by Toni Gomila, Lluqui Herrero and Joan C. Bellviure.
