With this title, taken from a poem by Antonina Canyelles, painter Alicia Llabrés presents an exhibition of works of varied formats where she reflects on what we fill a suitcase with when we “leave”.
With it she honors two very close persons that died in recent months: her mother, gallery owner and widow of painter Miquel Llabrés, Alicia Bernat and her friend Tomeu Picornell. In a range of ocher and blue, Alicia Llabrés blurs pine trees, cypresses, houses and other natures until making them her own, converted in material of memories.
