Exhibition by Julio Galeote in this new edition of PalmaPhoto. Exceso (Excess) combines the idea of an installation and a representation through constructions to be photographed in the artist's studio. The objects were collected at takedowns of trade shows, sales promotions and events to create new scenarios with them later.
Julio Galeote (Madrid, 1977) forms part of a new generation of photographers who use the camera as a tool for translation of a previous idea. If they do not find it, they build a scene or change the reality to their taste.
