At the beginning of the 19th century, the young French scientist François Arago settled on the top of Sa Mola de S'Esclop in order to determine the most accurate measurement of the length of the meter.
This historical fact is now scripted by Carlos Garrido in the show El Francés de s'Esclop, which is represented in la Finca Pública de Galatzó very close to the place where the scientist worked for months.
With the actor Josep Mercadal in the role of François Arago and the musical intervention of Mariona Forteza.
