The work of Philip Wolf, who presents the exhibition In-volución, is full of antagonism and marked by contrasts and achieves to combine styles, sizes and contrasting themes. He had his first solo exhibition after winning the sixth edition of the contest Art i Vi, convened by Jaume Mesquida wineries in 2009.
He began painting thanks to his passage through the studio of Mallorcan artist Juan Segura. For a long time he was dedicated to the broad brush, and this profession has left its mark on his work. His painting is a struggle with the canvas, that gets smeared and splashed until a form can be seen, an image that comes to life and becomes meaningful.
