Mexican Juan Pablo Meneses (Puebla, 1982) presents his first solo exhibition in Spain, and he does so in Addaya Centre d’Art Contemporani .It is a project that links words and objects and gives them a new life through the meaning of the term installation. He uses intervention as a production strategy and photography as a recording medium. He experiments with different disciplines and uses intervention in public space.
For this young artist an intervention is not merely visual and sculptural. Rather it seeks to address the space and use photography to create atmospheres and environments. The use of text is a very important part of the project, in which literature becomes visual and plastic art speech.
