‘La isla del tesoro’

The French company 9 Thermidor premieres Treasure Island in Spain, as part of the 2023 International Festival of Teresetes Theater in Mallorca. It is an adaptation by Ophéli Kern of the famous novel by R. L. Stevenson, with live music by Pierre Burette and Stéphane Boreau as a puppeteer.

This piece of object theater tells the story of little Jim Hawkins who, after a series of strange adventures, finds himself in possession of a mysterious treasure map. After sharing it with his friends, together they decide to organize an expedition in search of Treasure Island. A story full of adventures and dangers in which the desire for wealth can be fatal and friendship is a key issue.
