‘Kar’

The Checo-Slovakian company Fekete Seretlek & Studio Damúza premieres its show Kar in Spain, within the International Festival of Teresetes Theater of Mallorca 2023. Theater of objects with live music on motifs from the book Anna Karenina, by Leon Tolstoy.

During the funeral dinner, in the clinking of glasses and the silent accompaniment of the funeral band, fragments of the life of the deceased begin to happen. A metamorphosis of music and theater, cabaret and intimate scenes of objects and original musical compositions that derive mainly from Russian folk.

Directed by Matija Solce, the puppeteers and musicians are Matija Solce, Anna Bubníková, Pavol Smolárik, Jiren Jelínek, Ivo SedláCek and Jan Meduna. Artist: Zuzana Cajtlerováy.
