‘Kariguri’

Balearic Islands premiere of Kariguri, by the Catalan company Giramagic. A mixed-media piece without text.

A snail calmly drags the beginning of the world. An ephemeral cabin built to shelter a poetic impulse. Two people, spring and autumn, youth and old age, speed and slowness, earth and sky. Kariguri is visual poetry in motion, a place to breathe and contemplate the magic of impermanence. Magic, puppets, masks, clowning, and physical theater come together in a dreamlike, aural, and visual landscape.
