Carme Riera (National Prize for Spanish Literature 2015) enters for the first time inwards on stage giving voice and body to one of her fetish characters, Archduke Lluís Salvador. Les darreres paraules is a production of the Teatre Principal de Palma.
In this montage, the Archduke dictates to his last secretary personal confessions, which will be signed before a notary and can not be made public until 25 years after his death.
Far from the sweetened image of the Archduke, Riera presents us with an authoritarian man, irascible and without much scruple, who abuses the weakest before his privileged social situation. An Archiduke that the writer and academic already reflected in the novel with which she won the Premi Sant Joan novella 2016. With actor Andreu Benito giving life to Arxiduc and Josep Orfila in the role of his secretary. Show in Catalan.
