‘El órgano de los espíritus’

Joan Cassanyes, actor, magician and playwright, National Prize for Comic Magic 2022 and International Portuguese Valongo Prize 2022, presents this show that features the Walcker organ, the Sala de musica, Can Balaguer and its former inhabitants.

In the 16th century, the organ builder Gaspar Roig lived in a small house on the corner of Born and Serinyà Street. Four hundred years later, Josep Balaguer built the only civil organ in Mallorca in one of the rooms that, years ago, would have been part of Gaspar Roig's house.

How can such a special instrument be so important to both stories? A room that unites, through the centuries, two people who do not know each other... But perhaps they did meet.
