'El malabarista del color', by Gustavo

Coinciding with the festivity of its patron Saint Jaime, the Alcúdia City Council reopens the doors of Can Fondo, espai d'art with an extraordinary exhibition, by an extraordinary artist who has given himself to put color in a moment as necessary as the one we are living.

To speak of Gustavo Peñalver is to speak of a character out of the ordinary, an artist who with 80 years has lived and worked intensively and who continues tirelessly showing his genius.

His grotesque, imaginary world, without control, without established rules, everything is possible in Gustavo's paradise. His imagination knows no limits and invites us through reading his work to travel freely through a world without meaning but full of color.
