'Manolas'

The German photographer Uschi Burger-Precht (Munich, 1950), Campos resident for two decades, the series exposes Manolas, dedicated to the brotherhood of the Companions of Christ the fields.

The sample is composed of images of women from the brotherhood, all with the hidden face and clothing typical of the Easter processions. You can see photos printed on canvas of four meters full of mysticism, and others, on paper, more intimate snapshots of the same women.

Uschi Burger Precht has done work as a freelance photographer since 1990 and is represented by the agency Great Pictures in Switzerland (www.greatpictures.com) and by the agency Photo-Mallorca in Spain (www.photomallorca.com). In Madrid she is represented by the Gallery Ra del Rey.
