‘El mar’

Screening of this film directed by Agusti Villaronga, will participate in the subsequent discussion led by Fernando Lara. It is an adaptation of the novel by writer Blai Bonet, interpreted by Roger Casamajor, Bruno Bergonzi, Antonia Torrens, Juli Look, Simó Andreu and Angela Molina, among others.

El Mar  (The sea) tells the early life of Manuel Tur and Andreu Ramallo during the Spanish Civil War and two years later, in the sanatorium for tuberculosis patients. The film participated in the official section of the Berlin Film Festival 2000, obtaining the Manfred Salzberg prize for best innovative film.
