‘La marca del meridiano’ by Lorenzo Silva

The writer from Madrid Lorenzo Silva will be in charge of presenting his latest novel entitled La marca del meridiano (The meridian mark), winner of the Premio Planeta 2012 and the seventh installment of a series of detective story that started in 1998 with EL lejano país de los estanques(The distant country of the ponds).

The novel narrates the professional adventures of two guardias civiles (policemen), Sergeant Bevilacqua and his partner Chamorro. On this occasion, they must investigate the murder of one of their reserve companions with whom Bevilacqua had worked and maintained a good friendship.
