‘Missa del Filii’ by J.D. Zelenka

Art Vocal Ensemble, together with Studium Cor de Cambra, presents the symphonic choral work Missa del Filiii by Czech composer Jan Dismas Zelenka (1679-1745).

A special date for Art Vocal Ensemble, as it was the work chosen ten years ago to kick off this musical project in Pollença.

Never before seen in Mallorca, it is a work that transitions between the Baroque and Classical periods and stands out for its aesthetic originality and innovative format of religious composition.

With Carles Ponseti Verdaguer, as director of Studium, chamber choir, and Llorenç Gelabert Gual, as director of Art Vocal Ensemble, choir and orchestra, the soloists are Soledad Cardoso, soprano; Andrew Hallock, countertenor; Antoni Aragón, tenor; and Gabriel Mas, baritone.
