‘Nader y Simin, una separación’

Iranian Film (2011) Golden Bear for Best Film and the Silver Bear for Best Actor and Actress at the Berlin Film Festival and Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. It tells a moving story in which all the characters are hiding something. From Asghar Farhadi, also director of the original About Elly, weaves a tragedy that could happen anywhere in the world although showing the particularities of the Iranian society.

Nader and Simin are an Iranian married couple with a daughter. After years of marriage, they decide to divorce. She wants to leave the country to seek a better life, but he wants to stay because his father has Alzheimer's. Nader then employs a woman to care for his father projected in original version with subtitles in Castilian.
