Curated by Carles Guerra, Normopathies. Works from the Es Baluard Museu Collection presents a selection of works from the museum's collection dated between the European post-war period and the first two decades of the 21st century from which an essay is derived on the relationship of writing as a technique for the exercise of power and its desire of regulations.
All this from a meeting with the British anthropologist Jack Goody, known for his contributions to a story that reveals the effects of the emergence of writing in ancient times. The recording of the last interview with this researcher, shortly before his death, serves as a prologue to the selection of the Collection.
The Es Baluard Museu d’Art Contemporani de Palma Collection includes in its collection a large number of works linked to the European post-war period. From Wols to André Masson, passing through Jean Fautrier and Antoni Tàpies.
