This is the second solo exhibition the Basque artist Garraza (Berango, 1979) carries out in the last year at the Louis 21 Gallery in Palma. On this occasion he presents his most recent project, Osama, which deals with the assassination of who was the most wanted man on the planet.
The opening of the exhibition coincides with the second anniversary of his capture and execution, on May 2, 2011. The work consists of two large paintings - recreations of events for which there are no visual evidences-five watercolors, which are based on existing and accepted as authentic images. Structured as a narrative, Garraza visually reconstructs the military operation that ended the life of Osama Bin Laden.
