It is the third concert of the Palma de Primavera cycle. Pablo Neruda, 50th anniversary, pays homage to the Chilean poet, Nobel Prize for Literature (1971), with a poetic-musical proposal by Pedro Mateo on guitar and Miquel Àngel Torrens in the reading of texts and recitations of poems by the famous author.
In this way, words and music will be intertwined in this walk through the 20th century of the poet's contemporary, where guitar music by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Alberto Ginastera, Leo Brouwer, Víctor Jara, Francesc Tàrrega, Ennio Morricone and Stanley Myers will be interspersed, with a selection of poems by Neruda and other related texts that will allow us to evoke decisive moments in the life and work of the poet.
