‘La paella del dijous’

Muguet Franc directs La paella del dijous, a comedy about love in later life and second chances, with dramaturgy by Cristina Clemente and starring Jordi Andújar, Llum Barrera and Núria Cuyàs.

A playwright and screenwriter of many plays and series, Cristina Clemente recreates in this theatrical text a difficult situation experienced within the family.

Mercè (Luz Barrera) has lunch every Thursday with her two children, Guifré and Lia. And every Thursday she prepares a paella for them. Today seems like any other Thursday, a Thursday like any other, but the fact that she has cooked the seafood paella already announces that it will be a special Thursday.

She wants to tell them something very important, a fact that has changed her life. They suspect that something big is happening and perhaps they jump to conclusions.
