'La Partida (Dealer's choise)'

A poker game is an excuse to Patrick Marber, one of the great names in British drama, to stage this comedy about fathers and sons. A piece of masculinity full of testosterone.

Julio Manrique directs this production two years after playing in the Grec 2012 John de Senyoreta Júlia (After Miss Julie), another work written by Patrick Marber (London, 1964).

Ramon Madaula, Joan Carreras, Marc Rodriguez, Andrew Tarbet, Oriol Vila and Andreu Benito give life to six characters involved in a game in the basement of a venue. Between whiskey and cigarettes, each play will bring up topics ranging from friendship to success and failure.

La Partida  ( The Game), produced by Teatre Romea / Focus, opens the nineteenth Fira de Teatre de Manacor.
