With the furniture, paintings and tapestries from the municipal collection, some of the characteristic spaces of Palma's stately homes have been rebuilt on the main floor of Can Balaguer.
But for its museification, decorative objects have been necessary to give it the appearance of a lived-in house, characteristic of an atmospheric museum. This has been possible thanks to the collaboration of some private collections, such as those of the Alomar family, that of Josep Balaguer Siquier and, especially, the Domènech-Vázquez Collection, with which it was possible to complete the set.
This dialogued visit, in charge of Arquitectives, is carried out on the occasion of the incorporation of a new deposit of this latest collection. From small objects, the visitor can enjoy a journey through the history of styles and changes in the customs of daily life.
